Master Matthew Sleight started his training in Martial Arts in his mid twenties. He quickly fell in love with Taekwondo, the Korean Martial Art and Olympic sport. As he was a late starter he found his early training hard but under the tutorage of excellent Masters he quickly gained his Black belt and kept on training. Now a 4th Dan Black belt Master with his International trainers and judging license. Matthew Sleight is always striving to improve his skills and learn more about Taekwondo.

Matthew wishes to strengthen and expand the sport and teachings of Taekwondo to other countries, especially in the UK. He is also a black belt in two other Korean Martial Arts Hapkido and Haedong Kumdo. He says he is striving to help others become better people though perseverance, dedication and physical training.
